Throughout my life, I've often found myself confused, perhaps almost upset at myself, about something being missing. I can recall my earliest feelings of being a women even around the age of 4 or 5. Thinking about it now I'm startled at how people have the ability to surpress feeling and even why we have. The earliest moments I have in recognising that I am a woman in the wrong body is when I was about 5, my mother asked me rather bluntly if I felt like a girl. (I'll preface this by saying I

Well this journey has been going for many a day now and my past life is long gone. I have had my trials and tribulations, faced them head on and I have a fresh view from near the top. While I am almost there, I still have more obsticals to over come but they are much fewer and more personal in nature than my past goals those have been reached and I will continue to be a better person by improving my life, as any one might. Goals of retirment, buying a home, getting a newer car, finding love a

(Hi everyone. I'm playing around with tips and tricks for telling powerful stories to people with internet attention spans. More coming soon, but here's a first sample I tried. Seems like good practice to: (1) Keep it short (2) Create white space above, below, and within the story (3) Use pictures (4) Use audio and other media to give it more richness and a feeling of personal and emotional connection. If you have more suggestions and tips and tricks, please let…

I always knew I was transsexual or then I just wanted to be a little girl. I remember praying at night please let me wait up a girl and the big let down that I never would. When I was about 8 in 1956 I remember reading about Christine Jorgensen in a book about the world news in 1952. That was the day I knew it was possible to be who I knew I was a girl. Sometimes I think this caused more of a burden on me knowing exactly what I needed to do but how? I made it through my teens only to find mys

No this is not a blog about death but a blog on my transistion and life befor during and after my transistion.
I made some blunders and it's my hope that maybe somone will read this and be able to avoid the same follies as my self. To give a proper perspective of my life before transistion, I was considered a regular guy, was married to my college sweet heart and was going through all the motions of being a guy. I had my ups and downs and I was a father of two great kids whom I

Take a bold and positive step this coming year, we have the greatest nation on earth, stand up and declare we cherish Freedom.
We in America have to understand this word to stand up to tyranny on a scale we haven't had too since the civil war times. For years we have allowed our government to legislate our freedoms away. The challenge before us is a great one as many of us have come to our senses, we need to unite in a way that is kin to rebellion on a peaceful scale. I do not promote vio…

I lived in a place in Southern California when I was a child, about 14 years later, I visited and I found my picture as a child painted on a Mural and my most truthful thoughts is that it brings me closer to Heaven.

This response came from a question posed by a member of a support
group to which I belong in Happy Cow, CA. The question:
“what makes a person a cool ts”? (TS = Transsexual).
What follows was my response to the question:
A cool person is one is who supports you, even if they don't
understand. They won't discard you like last night's supper
scraps, or yesterday's paper simply because you're a person who
is TS. Cool people will share java with you, treat you as a
fellow human being and include y…

I know it might sound strange but I simply have to leave and face the things in my past. I can't run any more and this time is the last for me. No longer will I be going back as the person I once was because that is impossible on so many levels. Instead I am going back to where it all began the Town, the home, the past family that no longer accepts me I am going to face each and every one of them to let them know that I still care and that even if they don't feel good about this I certainly do.…

Here we go again! Welcome back to all the great and wonderfull stories I have to share much like a Thousand and one nights from Arabian Nights tales.. I have the stories to share here. Not all of them are going to be about me but for now the first series will be. Primarily because I want to chronicle this transistional time in my life with the whole story from triumps to pitfalls and every thing else.
Some days are better than others, living life on a day by day choice, to struggle on. I seek t…

Well I thought I might stay in Michigan for a few days maybe a week but instead I found a job and started a new journey of my life one that had a lot of unknowns. I was able to meet with and even find a place to stay the trans activist Michelle Fox-Phillips. now when I met this woman she appeared small and frail and to be honest a little scarry.
But I needed help and she was offering to help me so I took it. Now I have been in Michigain for several months.
What I have come to find out is…
